Who We Are

RCC Kids exists to teach children the truths of God's Word. Our desire is to come alongside parents in raising up mature followers of Jesus Christ.  We believe that the church plays a vital role in discipleship. We do not want do this alone, but we desire to equip you as parents to be the spiritual leaders for your kids.

Sherrie Muhtaseb // Director of Family Ministry

Sherrie has always had a passion for teaching children. In high school she led the Children's Ministry at her home church, an experience through which she gained valuable insight into working with youth. She then obtained a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Children’s Ministry minor from Messiah College. After graduating, she taught elementary aged students for four years and now looks forward to using her knowledge and experience as an asset to develop our family ministry at RCC.

What We Do

RCC Kids is currently for ages newborn to four years old. As we grow, our desire is to include all children ages newborn to 12.

Our service includes a time of age-appropriate praise and worship, prayer, a Bible story, games/activities, and free play. The goal is to deepen the children’s understanding of God and His Word in a fun and interesting way!

We ask our members to volunteer in RCC Kids on a weekly rotation. To ensure the safety and security of your children, every member who volunteers to serve in RCC Kids has gone through a thorough background check.

what to expect

We’d love to have you join us! RCC Kids meets every Sunday morning at 10:00am in the SEYA CrossFit room. We suggest coming 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in. In order to save time during the check-in process, please consider filling out the form below so that your information is already in the system.

For now, children over the age of four can join you in the main service and take a bag from our RCC Kid’s Corner, located near the Welcome Table. These bags include a book, a sermon note guide, a coloring page, and crayons.
