FACILITIES MANAGER

Type: Part-Time, depending on candidate and availability. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Facility Oversight and Maintenance (60%)

    1. Routinely evaluate all aspects of the facility, perform routine maintenance, and make repairs as necessary. 

    2. Coordinate the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health, safety, and hospitality standards. 

    3. Ensure compliance with all applicable occupancy and fire codes. 

    4. Work with contractors to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and within our budgetary guidelines. 

    5. Assist with the construction, repair, and installation of various projects for ministry needs (i.e. stage set design, special events, etc.). 

    6. Ensure the church building, grounds, alleyways, sidewalks, and gutters are cleaned weekly and well-maintained. 

    7. Look for opportunities to improve the cost and energy efficiency of our facility. 

  2. Room Reservation and Event Support (20%)

    1. Coordinate with the Director of Operations on one-time or recurring room reservations, taking the lead on event setup/tear-down tasks such as setting out chairs and tables for events as needed. 

  3. Outreach and Community Engagement (10%)

    1. Point of contact for the fulfillment of community service hours, class/service learning credits, or volunteer opportunities for local students or parolees. Implements and models discipleship in these relationships.

  4. Staff commitments (10%)

    1. Attends staff meetings every week. 

    2. Regular weekly meetings with the Operations Director for discipleship, growth, and connecting on upcoming events.

    3. Attends Staff retreats
