RCC’s Commitment to Biblical Generosity
-
GIVE
Our first and best. We give the first and best portion of our income – not the leftovers – because God gave us His best in Christ. Giving first honors Him as the source of all we have, fuels gospel ministry, and shapes our hearts to value eternal things over temporary possessions. (Proverbs 3:9, 2 Corinthians 8:9)
-
SAVE
Wisely and prayerfully. Saving is an act of stewardship, not self-reliance. It positions us to meet future needs, care for our families, and respond to unexpected ministry opportunities without being enslaved to debt or anxiety. (Proverbs 21:20)
-
LIVE
Contentedly and joyfully. After giving and saving, we live on the rest – finding freedom in simplicity, joy in God’s provision, and contentment in Christ. (Hebrews 13:5)
“For all things come from You, and of your own have we given You.”
— 1 Chronicles 29:14

RCC’s Philosophy of Generosity
At Redemption City Church (RCC), generosity is not a side activity – it is central to what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. We believe generosity flows from the very heart of God, who gave His Son for our salvation (John 3:16; Romans 8:32). As a church family, we joyfully respond to His grace by ordering our lives in a way that displays His worth and declares His gospel.
